Player and parents organising their own knock-about games on the top pitch while junior training for a younger age-group takes place on the lower pitch and the barbecue gets fired up, ready to feed hungry youngsters at the end of the session. We always have options to suit all diets.
We get through a lot of these in a year. More volunteers to help run the barbecue always welcome.
And parents get through quite a few of these on training evenings, as well as a lot of great wine at great prices, courtesy of one of our dads being a wine supplier for Les Caves de Pyrene.

A dad umpires a spontaneously organised game as kids start to arrive for the family fun & awards day.
Our end of season family fun & awards day is usually in September. We celebrate the year we've had with fun, games, team manager speeches, food & drink, a raffle and of course lots of medals, certificates and a few trophies.
A coach uses a bowling machine to help some of our older juniors work on their batting technique.
Some of our younger soft-ball players at a Spring indoor training session. Over the course, the coaches will cover a full range of cricket skills. Sessions usually always finish with the kids trying to put those skills into action in a game.
Under 10s at an away game. Being in the Surrey league, our matches are mainly Saturday or Sunday mornings, with a journey time of up to about 30-40 minutes.
